Once Fred figured out that we were heavily depending on him to be our "eyes" with regard to the external upkeep of the house he was diligent in visiting and being our main point of contact to keep everything properly winterized, running and protected from the extreme cold. “Fred Nelson was referred to me by my sister who had used him in an earlier purchase of a home.....but I already had met a few other realtors and at that time was making a final decision. Because I was relocating to another country and knew I would have a sale/closing AFTER I left - I knew this decision was especially important because I was leaving much trust in this person to work with my legal appointees, and I was looking for someone who would assist in a "quick sale," who I could fully trust could carry out the details in a expedient manner, make me feel like a priority and keep me informed of the process, as well as guide me in the right direction based on his experience. Regardless of the referral, I always research - so I googled his experience thoroughly and was impressed with his experience and his ratings - and as soon as I met him I hired him immediately at our initial meeting/walkthrough. Fred exceeded all expectations. He offered his experience on how to stage and present....whereas the home had several offers within a week! From that point on he was direct with giving me his expert advice on all offers and negotiations and keeping me and my legal appointees informed. This was my first home sale and I was impatient, so during the process he made me feel like a priority and was patient per my several questions as well as helping guide me in the right direction based on his experience. He did this all without pressure or duress regardless of the quick timeline. There were several instances of the process I could have easily gave up on the offer negotiations (and considered it due to the purchaser requests) - but his experience, direct communication and laid back personality made the process easier to understand/absorb and gave me full trust in him and the process. Fred turned out to be the perfect blend of experience, knowledge, professional (without being too much so) - and he was direct, informed, concise, communicative, trustworthy, supportive and most importantly, non-rigid and non-pressuring. Fred exceeded all expectations and made my first home selling experience worthwhile. I would most definitely use Fred's services again when moving back to the U.S.”
